Before I set up a Wireless internet connection on my tv (to get the smart things app to work) all the apps worked with a wired internet connection, but now if I switch the tv from wireless to wired connection then select an app I get an error message saying it needs a Wireless connection!!!!
Why is the wired connection which is a stronger signal not working?
Why they call these smart tvs I have no idea 😞

I managed to solve this by going into the main menu settings and changing it in network settings.
it seems that changing it in the far left and up option needs to be looked at.

That's strange, @Hlldazzer! What's the full model code of your TV and the current software version please? Go to Home > Settings > Support > About This TV.

@ChrisM - I’ve been having the same issue for quite some time. My TV is a QN65Q70RAFXZA with T-MSMAKUC-1391.0. B0970101/070104 software. It used to work wired but now the SmartThings App wants a wireless connection.
