From day 1 of owning this tv I have been unable to send 5.1 surround sound via the built in apps of the tv through hdmi. Works fine with optical, but not hdmi. External hdmi divices also work with pass through.
From what I can see the tv is missing the option processe bit stream audio. With only options being PCM auto or pass through. Anyone have any advice on this? Thanks
