Hello, I have a new Frame tv and it's set up with Wi-Fi and the One Box is connected to aerial socket, but there are no terrestrial / Freeview channels. I've tried auto-tuning and resetting on numerous occassions but still nothing. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

I had exactly the same issue, it was a real pain...
1. on main remote control below red A, the settings button, press the auto tune, from this button the function works, for some reason auto tune will not work if you access the settings screen from the main menu!

Hello everyone
I was also having problems tuning in more than 3 freeview channels on Qe43 smart TV despite retuning and resetting many times. I was routing terrestrial aerial via my home theatre system loopback sockets. I have now connected aerial direct to TV input socket and now get 144 freeview channels as it was on my old TV. I wish I could delete all those nasty Samsung channels.

Ensure you have an aerial plugged in first otherwise the TV may not give you the option to tune. If you don't have an aerial put your finger on the aerial socket on the TV and then goto broadcast in setting menu. If the option to scan is available then terrestrial and Freeview TV will work. Just buy an aerial and attach it.

I have a 32 in T4300 Smart TV which I have set up via a hard wired internet connection. I was told I should be able to access terrestrial channels, if nothing else through the Freeview app but I can't. I'm reading through all these comments and it seems the best way is to plug it in to an aerial but I don't have that option. Is there anyway of getting terrestrial channels WITHOUT and aerial?
Thank you,

I've been grappling with the same issue as everyone else on this thread. Here's what I've found after doing some research:
Some Samsungs have Freesat, others do not. It is certainly not true to say that "all TVs nowadays have built-in Freesat/Freeview". It obviously depends on your particular TV model.
Mine is the Samsung 43- inch UE43TU7100KKXXU. I've checked the full specs on the Currys website (where I bought it from). You need to look for the line where it mentions the tuner. If it states FREESAT HD and TV PLUS, then you're obviously good for all Freesat channels.
However, if just mentions TV PLUS (as mine does), then you can forget any and all Freesat channels. The Currys guy I spoke to, before I purchased, obviously placed too much faith in his own knowledge when he told me that "every TV sold nowadays has built-in Freesat". That obviously turned out to be bull.
So, unless I pay out for a Freesat/Freeview box, I am stuck with those crappy Samsung TV Plus channels and catch-up channels.
So that's my experience and what I've found out. It'll be bad news for some, no doubt - as it is for me.
