Model UE40KU6100K
Firmware 1241.5
My tv randomly stops responding to the remote. I have to cut the power to the tv and turn it back on for it to work again.
I first thought it could be the remote, but it happens with new batteries, and I bought a new remote for it. Unfortunately the problem persists.
I've updated the firmware to the latest version, but it keeps happening.
Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Hey @K3n0b1! Something may be interfering with the signal from the remote to the TV; make sure there's nothing obstructing your TV's remote sensor such as a soundbar or speaker. For the next hours, when using the remote, hold it a few inches away from your TV's power light and use it as normal. If the issue disappears, you will need to move around until you find the source of the interference.

Its nothing to do with interference. You can hold the remote right in front of the tv, and the tv still won't respond. The remote reciever sensor on the tv usually flashes red when the remote buttons are pressed. When it stops responding it doesnt flash red.

Right, and you also tried with new batteries and a different remote. If the TV is also up to date, you can do a Factory Reset of the TV to see if it helps.
