How do I stop the random music videos and shows Auto playing on the home screen for Samsung smart TVs. I just got the Samsung Q60R and every time I turn the TV on or switch apps I have to hear random music videos play.

I fixed this by going to Settings -- General -- Smart Features. Turn on or off the Autorun features for Smart Hub, Last App, and Samsung TV Plus.

Figured it out. Go to Home Screen and uninstall “Samsung Live TV” app

If anyone is still reading this thread you can find the answer in settings/general/smart features. Then unselect Auto Run Samsung TV Plus. It looks like it auto selected during an update. Hope this helps!

Wish this were true for The Frame as well! No Smart Features menu item, no way to disable auto play. So if you turn on the TV and smart hub is the default landing, a few seconds later whatever was last playing starts again. Super annoying.

Just got The Frame this week and was immediately frustrated with this “feature”. I’ve tried everything listed in this chat and am still getting Samsung TV Plus playing on startup, when navigating settings or basically when I do anything.
Even more frustrating is it keeps advertising available shows on apps that I’ve uninstalled. For example, I deleted the Tubi app because the Home Screen kept showing that the movie Striptease is available, along with the provocative movie cover picture. I have two young children and it’s only a matter of time until I get a question I’m not ready to answer! Even with the Tubi app “deleted”, it’s still showing the preview as available on the tv.
Samsung, please speak up!!!

This is an embarrassingly bad interface. I don't want anything to play when I turn it on. Silence please! Samsung Please fix!

Yeah. I've disabled this thing many times now. This annoyance along with the mediocre interface says this is the last Samsung smart TV I'll be purchasing.

Thank you - truely awful experience. I think your solution has taken away the noise. It was unbearable!
