How to permanently disable "game mode"?

I've a Samsung TV model QE65Q80CATXXH, every time I connect my PC using its HDMI, it turns on game mode, but I don't want it.

When I disable the game mode, for some reason, it crashes my computer, literally freezes the PC. If I decide to leave the game mode on, it goes full black screen and crashes my computer again when I try to launch a game.

I simply want to use the TV without any game modes, or whatever the TV thinks is best, but I can't.

No setting on a monitor/TV or anything similar should crash a PC. They are outputs and physically cannot do that- at most the screen will go black but the pc should remain exactly the same- if your actural pc is crashing then theres something wrong- unless theres a software compatability issue??

Im assuming theres a driver issue at play here. Windows saves crash reports you can find

When I have the computer connected, if I disable the game mode, it literally crashes the computer.

I have my monitor and the TV connected, the TV goes black, the monitor freezes on whatever it had on screen, my mouse and keyboard (which are controlled by the Logitech HUB) simply lose the configuration and goes back to the default color and backlight configurations.

The only way is to physically restart the computer, I’ve updated all my drivers from nvidia and gigabyte. Honestly don’t even know what else to try.

Boot into Windows safe mode with network and see if it happens again. If it doesn't, there is software you have that is incompatible with another. If it does, it is a hardware/driver issue.

After doing a factory reset to my TV, now when I connect the HDMI, it shows an option to press down on the remote if the source is a computer, which disables the game mode.

Managed to launch the game and play.

After a few days the issue came back... For some reason, I can't disable the game mode again. However, I've noticed a little weird behaviour, which might be the cause of the issue,  when I connect to the TV, it automatically changes the resolution to 3840x2160 60Hz, but I want it to be 1920x1080 120Hz.

Naturally, I change the resolution, and for some weird reason, it goes back 3840x2160 60Hz. Then I change it back, and as soon as I choose 120Hz on Nvidia app, black screen.

I just don't understand why, a week ago it was working, now I can't get it working again.

This is the initial configuration when I plug in the TV

Then I change to:

And as soon as I change to 120hz

I get:

Which is super weird, since it was working with the config: 1920x1080 120Hz

Seems like if I change the resolution from Windows, and try to change the refresh rate from Nvidia, it crashes. If I change all from the Nvidia app, sometimes it works, sometimes it goes back to 3840x2160 60Hz, and sometimes it crashes.

My computer specs:

- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700X
- GPU: Gigabyte GeForce RTX™ 4070 Ti EAGLE OC 12G
