Hi
i got my TV yesterday and given its now Q4, expected my new tv to have the Google Assistant.
As instructed here: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00087603/
i tried to update the firmware over the air - no update available. I have now updated with USB to version: 01402.2020-09-29 (1402.6) and still only Alexa and Bixby.
I see lots of forum posts on the US forums that they have Google Assistant - is this a UK thing?
any assistance is appreciated.
thanks

Q3 2022 approaching, you think will Samsung get the update out to then? Or do they still think bixby is the way to go?

Model: QE55S95CATXXU: Google assistant in not available on my new S55C OLED (2023) TV, even though it is supposed to be supported on older and cheaper 2022 models (and available in the US). I've tried the firmware update. Will there be an update soon?

Hi, @SlowSamsuck. As there are so many threads and posts in the Community, and because we promote user-led dialogue, we don't reply to every post. It's not always appropriate or practical for us to do so. The Community is actively monitored, however, and is a great place to share feedback and get resolutions, tips, etc.
We as Moderators actively respond to any direct contact or where our intervention is required (or if we discern that to be the case). As a company, Samsung also has various Support Teams (including the TV & AV Team) available here:
https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/contact/
In the meantime, if anyone needs clarity on the availability of Google Assistant on their Samsung TV, I'd recommend having a look at the guide below (from Samsung US):
https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00087603/
I hope this helps. If you require any assistance, please let us know.

Wow, an reply!
Could you then directly answer when the google assistant feature is available in Norway? The links you are providing does not give any meaningful information!
Why should I look into an guide for the US when it is working fine there but not in the rest of the world?
Please read the posts before answering.

@SlowSamsuck Please contact our colleagues in Norway for further guidance on this. We cannot provide that here. You can contact them via https://www.samsung.com/no/support/

Absolutely, @SlowSamsuck. There will be times when there are guides and tutorials produced by Support Teams in other regions that have relevance to many other Samsung users across the world. That is true here, as the guide gives information about compatibility and how to set up Google Assistant.
Further to what @LukeB2 has advised, while we welcome everyone here, you can also access the Samsung Nordics Community here:
https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/nordics/ct-p/se?page=1&tab=setting:samsung.featured_topics
Our colleagues in your region are ideally placed to advise you about this.

Again you are misdirecting the users in all directions instead of answering an specific simple question! Why not just answer?
Now you have gotten my feedback that the referred guides you provided was not helpful, so what is your answer regarding rhe release of an update that gives us access to the google assistant that was promised in the product datasets when we purchased the Samsung tv?
Three years since the question was raised!
Ps. I have been in contact with Samsung Nordic two years ago, their commen was that the update was just around the corner, second time I called they did not know what google assistant was at all
