If you are a fan of Google Assistant on your Smart Tv  the inbuilt Assistant will no longer be available from 1 March, apparently due to a change in Google policy. only 2020-2022 will be affected mind you,Chromecast with Google Tv is an alternative if Bixby or Alexa do not appeal.

See some information here https://www.pocket-lint.com/samsung-tv-google-assistant-alternatives/

@EYEamNOTalone: Depending on your TV model, it is likely that there will be alternative Voice Assistant options available to you, in the absence of Google Assistant. With this in mind, please confirm your model number, located on the sticker on the back of the device, or in Settings > Support > About This TV, and I will look into this further for you.

I've been out of town quite a bit over the last few months. So I just found that Google Assistant was removed from my $3k TV. I bought this because it had Google Assistant, and I use it, or rather, used it, all the time.  Samsung did something like this several years ago to another TV I owned, rendering it useless to me.  So now I have yet another useless Samsung product. Thank God I got back home and found this out in time to cancel my order for my appliances I'm installing for my kitchen remodel.   This is the last straw for me. Never again will I purchase another Samsung product. I've been a loyal Samsung customer since late 90's.  They were once a great corporation, with awesome products.  Now they have fallen to the level, or lower, of "As Seen on TV" products.  Completely and utterly unreliable.  Almost made a $10k mistake in purchasing your appliances.  Guess my TV is going up on craigslist.

I'm confused. So only models between 2020-2022 will be affected? I just got this tv in March and I had Google assistant up until a week ago (June 10th).

Model code: QN55Q70CAFXZA. This has to be either 2024 or 2023

Thanks for info, if I reading that correctly it only effects models from 2020-2022? I just noticed it today (haven't checked) will that remove cameras from it also or just assistant?

Secondly I usually get my TV a year or 2 after there release picked up a 2021 last year for living room. My bedroom TV pretty old has areas across tge bottom where the display light is showing it a coipke shades lighter if all black so was looking to get new one soon if I got a 2023 TV would it just not have Google assistant option on it (box I saw under 2023 model had Google assistant Alexa options on it? Or does it work on newer then 20222 models?

Do newer 2023 models have the option? At the latest I be looking to upgrade my bedroom tv it's a 2016 model no voice at all. I really want to know so if for example it doesn't have it then I could buy a larger Samsung TV a year older 2022 then what they will have one sale black Friday for a 2023 and by a Google adapter that can use on hdmi 2 for example and still have control of my assistant.

Also with the removal of assistant will I lose access to and of my Google camera's o that can bring up on multiple windows?  Getting new set up on prime day may hold off if won't be compatible

@Roryxx04 Whilst Samsung's article says only 2020-2022 were impacted appears Google Assistant was available on some later models. However indications was that it was being phased out of new and existing Tv's last year. Bixby and Amazon Alexa will be available.  https://www.techradar.com/televisions/your-samsung-tv-is-losing-google-assistant-next-month
