I have always bought Sony TV's and this is the first time I have switched to Samsung and purchased the S95D a week ago. I have still to leave a customer review online for a major retailer here in the UK and this will depend on what answers I get back to how it's overall score is from me.
My TV is wall mounted and the one connect box has become a pain, why on the YouTube reviews does it show the one connect box being mounted to the left rear of the TV but on checking mine the two holes on the TV have the indentations but are covered up. Was this a safety issue and removed for UK release? My box is now attached to my wall but due to the way it hangs all the I/O connections are facing the wrong way with me having very difficult access.
I use my USB for watching 4K movies on the TV, my Sony TV's before had no problems with this but why oh why does the program that detects USB have next to no options? I can't even switch off the movie narrator on one film because there is no option for it. I can't believe I am contemplating buying a Nvidia Shield Pro as a work around for this. Is there an app similar to VLC player out there for this OS?
The TV quality is in my opinion excellent when gaming and watching a movie though I have had to lower the brightness and contrast from 50 to 35 as it seems to interfere with my Govee T2 backlights and confuse the camera when imitating the on screen colours. Not a big deal this as the TV quality is still excellent but thought Id mention it for anyone constantly going through the camera calibration.
Thanks to anyone with some information on those two questions.

Thank you for the quick reply. The one connect box is only as good as the length of cable you get with it plus the heads are too big to snake through the conduit that was installed behind the plasterboard that houses the HDMI cables. As for mounting it to the rear of the TV I have attached the link to one of the videos that shows the holes @ 6:54 that are noticeable covered in mine.
How To Unbox The Samsung S95D OLED With Pedestal Assembly And Install - 55" and 65"
As for the USB media player surly if the format is supported and runs on the TV it is program itself that lacks the functions. What I'm trying to hint at here is simply a firmware update to include a handful of options that is so commonly found in the most basic of media player programs. I can't help but see such a really impressive piece of technology let down by lazy programming. An Nvidia Shield Pro would solve this for me but why do I need to spend £200 just to have the ability to switch off a movie narrator, I'm actually quite surprised at this in this day and age. This is my biggest annoyance as I was so hung up on picture quality comparisons between LG G4, Sony Bravia 9 and Samsung S95D TV's that I completely overlooked this.
Thank you for you help though
