Why no 77 inch QD-OLED for EU/GER and when 4K240Hz? (asking the real questions)

Hello SAMSUNG,

really unfortunate, I need QD-OLED + 144Hz (also, when 240Hz? (yes, it will use DSC because HDMI 2.1a only allows up to 144Hz)) + 77 inch:

Top range:

  • The S95C (2023) is glossy, BUT has a One Connect Box, which only supports 40 Gbit/s (=120Hz), instead of the full 48Gbit/s (=144Hz)
  • The S95D (2024) is matte, so it's out of question for me (and the rest of the specs don't matter at this point)
  • The S95F (2025) is matte again..

Mid range:

  • (S90C - this one I haven't seen the stats yet *glossy, 144Hz (48Gbit/s) and QD-OLED?*)
  • S90D is glossy, but the 77 inch version only comes with a W-OELD panel, not QD-OLED
  • S90F is glossy,  but the 77 inch version only comes with a W-OLED panel, not QD-OLED

Lower range:

  • S85D and S85F supposedly unfortunately all use WOLED panels

(Yes, the 65 inch ones use QD-OLED.)

Please, give us a QD-OLED panel in 77 inch (and in 83 if you want).

Luke on YT has peeled off the matte coating on his S95D and S95F (and more and more known TV channels are talking about it). Perhaps I'll get a used one and do the same. Will the warranty be void?

SAMSUNG, just offer both [matte and glossy] variants to customers and let them decide (though, removing the plastic matte coating like Luke did might reveal an even glossier, purer, QD-OLED panel; time will tell if it's usable or too mirror-like).

With the possibility of peeling off matte plastic coating, the only missing thing is 240 Hz (for now, 360 Hz and more later).
