I've tried tuning both analogue and then within DTV.
It starts scanning, staring at ch5 and through to ch99 on DTV but results are always empty..
I know for sure the cable is fine because as soon as I plug the aerial back in to the old TV, the channel starts playing.

OK, so after many attempts of returning the DTV menu, lasted last night the TV actually discovered channels. What's family guy for a couple of hours then went bed. Woke up this morning, turned the telle on and poof, no channels.
Many retunes and resets later, still no channels.

Do you have another TV to see if you get free view or signal is good enough? Did your previous TV pick ok? Maybe you need just a booster but that will cost yourself money

If not then I would return it

Yeh the last TV works fine when I pluf the aerial cable back in to it.

It's just the samsung not picking any signal up. What's frustrating is that it actually worked one night. Then the next morning it couldn't pick up signal again.

I got it for free, it didn't cost me anything. Just trying to figure out what the problem is.
