Guys - this thread is about correct device detection on the TVs and not frame rates - please start your own thread if you want to discuss frame rate issues, and not hijack etc

Have you enabled advanced options in dev tools though, so you can see the actual frame rate of the video in the right hand panel?
I would suggest starting your own thread on this as Lizardman81 suggests as it is derailing this thread somewhat.

2023 and it’s still a pain. Just occurred out of know where after a few years of working fine. Remote stopped working and when restarting FireStick its now identified as a AppleTV.
after reading this whole thread, I got the remote working by deleting the AppleTV entry from The Universal Control menu. The HDMI port didn’t pick up FireStick but just labelled as unknown. Pulling the HDMI plug and reattaching it all bounced back to how it was.
