I have a Samsung UE49MU6500UXXU Smart TV, and an earlier edition of an Amazon Firestick, but I cannot get the two to synch. Having said that it is recognising is some way as a Samsung notice in white letters appears on the TV screen on a black background, and the Firestick itself operates on another TV I've used it on, where's it's updated the software, and films and programmed have been watched whilst it's been plugged into another TVI hope someone can help us solve this problem with the synchronization of these 2 devices.
