Samsung QE55Q80T (2020) QLED HDR 1500 4K Ultra HD Smart TV, 55 inch
I bought this television in August last year and although the entire rear port board needed to be fully replaced by Samsung, I have not experienced any other issues.
However, in the last couple of weeks the television appears to be auto changing settings on specific apps and an external Roku streaming stick. Like most people, I completely turn off any automatic settings, particularly smoothing and brightness/contrast. However, the television is now clearly altering both brightness and contrast. It is noticeable when I move through screens and I see the brightness of white text on the screen changing.
On Netflix it is particularly noticeable - if I use it on my Roku stick I can see the picture auto-change to a darker screen, to the extent that I cannot see a show properly. I used the Netflix app on the TV and it does much the same thing, albeit slightly less dark.
I have also tested Netflix on my PC and Samsung monitor and it is absolutely fine.
I have reset the Roku stick and the TV settings more than once, but with no joy. Any help you could provide would be really appreciated as I am getting pretty close to returning this thing.

@SeamusB: Apologies for the delay in getting back to you. Based on the troubleshooting steps we have been through, and the persistence of the issue, I recommend reaching out to our Help Desk via the link below, where an advisor will be able to arrange for the TV to be inspected by an engineer. Before you do this, you may wish to try returning the TV to it's default settings via Settings > General > Reset to see if you notice an improvement, although please be aware that this will remove any personal data and settings you have applied to the set since the initial setup. I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you.
