2019 QLED firmware 1401 subtitle bug

Looks like firmware 1401 breaks the subtitles for files played from USB devices.
Once the first one appears, instead of ending when it should, it stays visible forever or until the next title replaces it.

This happens on my Q90R and I also tried a total factory reset but it didn't fix the problem.

Well, I received an email like this from Samsung today.It also offers to install firmware 1409.In addition, it claims that this will solve the subtitle problem.But I know that it doesn't.

Nem sikerült. Ezt a választ kaptam a magyar weblapon: "Jó eséllyel nem egyezik a firmware és a készülék régiója. Kérlek várd meg, hogy a UI-on keresztül vagy a weboldalon keresztül tudjad frissíteni a televíziód szoftverét. "

Szia!Nekem is az a furcsa amit itt az egyik srác is említett hogy ez egy külső tárhelyről letöltött cucc.Ugye az ideglenes 1409-es is samu letöltő oldalról jön le.Meg akkor az új frissítés alacsonyabb verzió számmal jön majd mint a tüzoltásnak szánt 1409?Pedig már úgy megörültem..de hátha végre történik valami.

I can confirm that the 1404 update finally fixes the subtitle bug on my Q90R! Thanks for sharing Members_bu8RgnP! The update seems legit. 

For those wondering how to update. Create a folder ‘/T-MSMDEUC/image/‘ on your usb stick and copy the downloaded image and the text file in it.
