2019 82" QLED firmware 1401 update now has surround sound issues HELP!

Since my QE82Q70RAT received 1401 update a few days ago my Samsung HT-BD 1255 no longer works with the TV, I select receiver in sound settings but it switches back to TV speakers as i come out of the menu. Is this a bug? Has worked fine until this update, very disappointed that firmware gets released without fully testing.

What can i do to resolve this?

1.5 years later and Samsung still hasn't fixed the issue. Can't revert from 1409. The sound issue includes all of my HDMI devices now, even Apple TV. What a waste of money this TV turned out to be.

Solved?! So I have had issues since 1401 came out and included all following update; I may have found my issue. I had HDMI 2.0 wires previously and upgraded my eARC HDMI to 2.1 as it was needed for Atmos to properly work. So I still had a mixture of 2.0 and 2.1 HDMI. After trying a new soundbar the issue persisted, so I replaced the remaining 2.0 with 2.1, so all HDMI were now  2.1. Now it has been working. So please make sure you do not mix. 

I do not know if all HDMI were 2.0 will work but all wires being 2.1 works
