Preparing Dispatch?

My new S25 has been at Preparing Dispatch for 16 hours as of 0715 on 3 April with an original requested delivery data 5 April. Is Samsung likely to deliver my phone early or keep to the requested date of 5 April?

Will be normally on the quoted date.
If you are in the UK, I would normally advise downloading the DPD app and inputting your details
Normally get notified by them earlier about your delivery. Plus you can track it as well

The status of delivery can change quite quickly so do keep an eye on it 🤞

Very likely to come on stipulated date. You'll get a mail from DPD the night or day before stating they've got your order. As others have said, download the DPD app and set it up, then keep an eye on the progress status on the Samsung store.

It's now 1900 the day before the expected delivery date 5 April and the phone still shows Preparing Dispatch. A Samsung agent just said during a chat session As of the moment, I am unable to give any date delivery as it is still at the warehouse. And to answer your question, the warehouse is on UK only.

So my phone is in the UK but Samsung has no clue when the phone will be delivered. I'm not impressed.

Not sure whether you will see this but can I ask what happened in the end? I'm in the same situation with the Fold 7, Buds 3 Pros and Watch8. I have requested 02/08 but they are showing as 'Preparing Dispatch' but with different delivery dates. Fold is expected on 28/07, the phone case and bids are expected on 29/07 and the watch still at 02/08 so I currently have no idea when the orders will arrive.

The tracking progress rapidly moved from preparing despatch to tracking details and I received the phone on the day expected no no delay in the end.
