Confusion and Delay with My Parcel Delivery via DPD

I’m experiencing some confusion and delays with the delivery of my parcel S25, 1TB, and I wanted to share my experience to see if anyone else has faced a similar issue.

Initially, DPD informed me that they had received my parcel and it was on its way. However, I later received an update stating that my parcel had been misrouted to an incorrect delivery depot. They assured me that they were working to rectify the issue and that the parcel would be processed through their sorting system again and forwarded to my local delivery depot by the next business day.

Now, the tracking information indicates that Samsung did not hand over the parcel to DPD. I’m quite puzzled by this series of events and the conflicting information. Has anyone else encountered such a mix-up with their deliveries? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated.

Samsung is very very slow with updates. DPD is much more trustworthy with the information.

Samsung aren't technically delivering, DPD are, so they should be the most up to date. I mean if you sent a parcel via royal mail and the recipient asks you where their parcel is, are you likely to know or Royal Mail?

No issues this time, although I did have my delivery driver turn the package around so I could see it was in tact, last time I did a Samsung pre order someone ripped the outer bag and had tried to get into the box. That's my tip when it comes to dpd.

While the information is accurate, the erroneous updates originated from DPD, not Samsung. DPD issued both updates, the first indicating parcel receipt and en route status, the second indicating non-receipt.

Yeah, I'm sorry you've experienced this, I've had one in the past where the parcel was delayed by DPD, but it is quite rare. The only thing you can do at this point is contact DPD for updates. It's completely frustrating and I know the grief. I hope everything gets sorted for you swiftly in the end.

Mine is somewhere but DPD can’t give me any clue when I will get it, it’s showing as “in hub but delayed due to unexpected issue”. Whether this means they have lost it, or they have a serious issue I have no idea but I can’t get anyone to give me an update.  Really disappointing experience for a premium device.  Sorry for those who have purchased and expected today, there maybe a lot in the same stuck situation
