Why did I bother Pre-Ordering?

I pre-ordered my S25 Ultra 1TB on the 27th of Jan. I had ordered the phone prior to this but had to cancel my order twice due to the confusion of adding the various discount codes and offer codes. Now I did order a so called exclusive colour (Jet black) but the delivery date I was given was the 15th March!! I find this pre-order process very frustrating, I find myself now having to wait 6wks for a phone to arrive.

@Paulc01  Realise the frustration, however the cancellations will have held things back.  Sorry you were not clear on the discount/offer codes,  we can always offer  advice on this community but a number do not have a problem.  You will always need to wait longer for exclusive colours.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Yep it's all about the colour at first I wanted jade green but also cancelled more than once to get the best codes. When I eventually came to order found that only silver blue was available so ordered instead as everything else was a long wait. It will come eventually and certainly is worth the wait.

Hi! Welcome to the Samsung Members community.

Canceling the order removes the "pre-order"; they do not know/link your old orders, so that would have significantly delayed it, especially since you are getting an exclusive product.

Understandably, it could have been easier to get the best codes, but it is important to try your best to get it right the first time.

The above comments are appreciated as I understand you are doing your best on Samsung behalf.
But equally, I didn't see instructions on how to apply the various codes?
I didn't see a warning the ordering an exclusive colour might result in large delays?
Samsung also has a habit of changing how you take advantage of free ear bud offers, apply during order, or used to be after you ordered.
And frankly, any order placed before the phone is on general sale should be considered a pre-order.

Hello 👋 @Paulc01

Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum.

I totally understand and appreciate how this experience can take the shine off getting the new phone.

It is worth the wait I assure you.

I did look at the Jet Black version too however knowing that sometimes delays can happen with exclusive colours and or certain storage capacities I went for the Titanium Black.

I hope you receive the phone ASAP 🤞

Ultimately I know I have to wait, but it's frustrating, the process is frustrating, and I expect more from such a large company when i'm purchasing a premium product.

Odd, as my jet black phone came out to me on the same day as everybody else's S25 Ultra..

The promotions are confusing though and not very clear.

Demand for the S25 series has been higher than perhaps anticipated.

The online exclusive colours are made in smaller quantities and if they sell well, then more need to be sourced and delivered to the UK to enable orders.

It has been a pretty strong rollout globally.

Sadly this does mean some have a wait and I'm sorry to hear of your frustration but it will be worth it when you get it. 🙏

Well, I had some positive news. My phone is now due tomorrow, result. I am interested to see if the free buds show up at the same time, my order appears to have split into two parts, shows buds still on March 15th but phone changed to tomorrow.
