Confusion and Delay with My Parcel Delivery via DPD

I’m experiencing some confusion and delays with the delivery of my parcel S25, 1TB, and I wanted to share my experience to see if anyone else has faced a similar issue.

Initially, DPD informed me that they had received my parcel and it was on its way. However, I later received an update stating that my parcel had been misrouted to an incorrect delivery depot. They assured me that they were working to rectify the issue and that the parcel would be processed through their sorting system again and forwarded to my local delivery depot by the next business day.

Now, the tracking information indicates that Samsung did not hand over the parcel to DPD. I’m quite puzzled by this series of events and the conflicting information. Has anyone else encountered such a mix-up with their deliveries? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated.

Oh no, your parcel has been stolen! How is that even possible? I suspect the DPD delivery or cargo team might be skimming one or two items.

I have been having the same nightmare. I ordered on 22nd Jan, Shipment was on 31st Jan, I was supposed to receive 1 Feb morning, and my status is still "waiting to receive parcel from Samsung".

I contacted DPD who then told me there is another tracking number assigned to my delivery, so I have two!! Samsung only send me one. The second tracking number provided by DPD has the same "due to unforseen circumstances there has been a delay".

Contacting DPD again they said there has been a security incident, and that I need to speak to Samsung to resolve the issue. I have 1 tracking number which states Samsung has not given DPD the parcel, and another tracking number where my parcel is now deemed untraceable!

I have been sent round the houses between DPD and Samsung, absolutely ridiculous. They now have to investigate the matter which can take 6-10 days and only then can they send me a replacement, or I can be refunded after an additional 7-10 days on top of the 6-10 days.

Absolutely ridiculous.

Yes, and it feels utterly unfair that my money has gone, the parcel has "vanished" and Samsung require 2 weeks to contact an internal team to ask them.. "where is the parcel".

Two weeks is an unacceptable timeframe. Furthermore, some delivery personnel are exploiting this loophole.

Im with you! same boat. Did you get any updates since? I am waiting on an investigation which might take 10 days.

Unfortunately there is no way whatsoever to escalate this beyond trying to get a manager from the online shop team to handle the investigation, which does not speed it up.

I suspect the "email the CEO" option on website is useless too seeing that you're meant to get a response within 48 hours, and I have not. It's likely the same team.

For future orders, let's opt for in-store parcel collection instead of home delivery.
