After latest update app is always on and continually syncing automatically.

Please remove this feature and restore to previous version

I went into my account section and turned the sync off and on within the options, which, after then, swiping away the notification, it has stayed away.

Think I'd rather the notification to tell me the app is broke but really appreciate the message :🙂

Thank you. That worked. I didn't think of swiping away as never seen the message before. My mail is set to sync every 15 minutes. Sent myself a test mail and forced a sync. All worked fine. Will see if it comes back.

Oh no! Restarted my phone just to be sure. And its back. Hope it's not gobbling up my battery.
Standby for a Samsung fix as it looks like a bug.
BTW mine is a Samsung S24 ultra.

Emailed Samsung and got a standard response which doesn't even recognise the problem properly. Ho hum - not surprised. Hopefully next update will resolve.

It won't go away permanently until Samsung fix what they broke unfortunately. But after telling them about the issue, they have effectively dismissed it with a standard response which doesn't tackle the issue whatsoever. Quelle surprise 😮

Mine appears to be working OK now. No notification and no excess battery consumption an pop3 mail collection running every 15 mins for all mail addresses. Fingers crossed 🤞

Just reinstalled and no joy for me. Hopefully yours stays OK. Will try again tomorrow
