I have setup many microwaves over the years, but this is the next level setup, I have added a step-by-step picture walkthrough below, which took barely 5 minutes.

It has a few extra tricks vs my old Samsung and then all the AI-connected technology to relax and let it do the donkey work.

Love the new design, makes the old Microwave a 2023 model look dated, up and running so far definitely cooking improvements, much easier and accessible options.

Did a simple test yesterday. Was surprised my watch popped up with a notification also.

Liking the Alexa integration for basic voice commands.

I have owned Samsung microwaves for some time, MC28M6075 and MC32K7055 being the current which have been replaced by this model.

DESIGN = Very modern and stylish, love the glass front panel and the taller feet

CONTROLS = I would prefer a backlight for the menu, then realised once touched it lights up and thereafter it is a breeze and familiar to use.

SMART - Love the Alexa and Smartthings integration, thought it would be a gimmick, but finding it useful for features and energy monitoring.

COOKING - Most I assumed i was familiar with (Microwave, Grill, Combi, Air Fry), but finding all modes is so much better, the proof is in the taste of the food, the grill now works quickly and covers everything on the crust tray. Oh and the steam function is sublime, fill the provided utensil with water, add the vegetables, select the auto programme and e voila perfect.

SAMSUNG FOOD - This is THE best feature, i had dabbled with the new Samsung Food app and wrote it off, but now the Microwave completes the journey. For example, before I would tell Samsung Food what I liked cuisine-wise, but it filtered, and gave me options, now i can check off and add ingredients to my shopping list and then once the super cool part, SEND TO MICROWAVE, no more figuring out what temp/time, etc.. and once it's done i get an alert on my watch.

I guess I thought an appliance is an appliance, it has a prime function and that's it, but clearly, Samsung has pushed the boundaries with technology, connectivity and AI.

Cooked a pizza and steamed some brocoli using Samsung Food, sending cooking instructions directly to the oven.

Pizza was amazingly cooked, steamed brocoli not to my liking.

Noticed on Air Fry and steam oven was allot noisier.

Like the detailed cooking insights, I always assumed my microwave oven was instant, but clearly not.
