Hi and Welcome.

Was it saying on Argos page that it had smart features?

Also what smart features were you looking for?

Samsung certainly has AI features on their latest devices now so would depend on the model you buy.

Hi! Welcome to the Samsung Members community!

This is because that microwave is not a smart microwave. More so, there are no claims of it being a "smart" microwave, including on the Argos website itself. So, no surprise at the lack of smart features.1740657356088.jpg

Misleading advertisement? It doesn't claim to have smart features in terms of wifi/ smartthings- you assumed this. Before spending money, do your research. Misleading doesn't equal you not bothering to read.

It's important to understand that "smart" in kitchen appliances can have a broader meaning than just internet connectivity. In the case of the Samsung MC28H5013AS, "smart oven" refers to its advanced, versatile cooking capabilities: combination cooking, preset programs, specialized functions, and convection capabilities.

Essentially, "smart" in this context signifies that the appliance is designed to: offer a wider range of cooking options, simplify cooking through automation, and provide additional, specialized functions.

Therefore, while it might not have Wi-Fi connectivity like some modern "smart" appliances, its advanced cooking features justify the "smart oven" designation.
