Has anyone else experienced a base failure with this model of dryer after just over 2yrs? By coincidence the warranty had expired only weeks before.
It’s an expensive model so you would expect:
a. It to last longer than 2yrs
b. Samsung to offer a repair based on its cost and short lifespan

Have you been in touch with our Home Appliance team regarding this? They can be contacted on 0333 000 0333, Mon-Sun | 8am to 8pm.
I have spoken to them and they wanted to sell me another machine.
Obviously I wanted to know the extent of the problem first so they gave me the address of the nearest authorised repair team. They came in the next day and confirmed it needed a base replacement.
That's not what we like to hear. Were you given a cost for the repair?
Yes, by the engineer who checked it out the following day. It’s almost £300 so definitely not what you would expect after 2yrs and frustratingly the part isn’t even available.
Really not sure that looks like a good return on investment
