Easy connection failed

The easy connection on my fridge freezer constantly fails overnight meaning that the screen is on and bright all night wasting energy. Anybody else had this and any clues how to fix? 

Just to note the initial connection has been made, it just seems be be failing every night when we're in bed and the screen remains on.

Could we take the full model code of your Fridge Freezer please? You can find this on a label on the inside of the door.

Thanks, @0123ren. I can see that you're using the Samsung Family Hub RS68N8941SL/EU American Style Fridge Freezer. I removed the image you uploaded, as it showed your serial number.

Have you had a look at page 76 of the instruction manual (digital copy linked below) to see if that helps you to get Easy Connection working?:
