Firstly and before I start, A MASSIVE THANK YOU TO @SocietyGirl and the Samsung Team for inviting me to test some home appliances. 

Samsung have invited me to test two products. A Samsung Washing Machine and a Samsung Tumble Dryer. 

Here is my experience to date:

Delivery:

I received a random SMS from ArrowXL about two deliveries (which at this point I wasn't expecting) so presumed spam. SMS said I would receive emails with delivery slots, no emails ever arrived. Ignored SMS.

Next day, ArrowXL tried to deliver. Not at home, a handwritten note on a torn off piece of cardboard said delivery failed. No reference to ArrowXL or Samsung. Later that day went on to ArrowXL chat, couldn't help as didn't have a tracking number (no email......). Next morning rang ArrowXL and they found the items which, according to their system had been successfully delivered. Ticket raised as not delivered. 

A week later, delivery rearranged for both items. Tumble Dryer delivered. However ArrowXL drivers said the washing machine had been damaged in transit and needed to be returned. They didn't even attempt to take it off the vehicle. I was told the supplier would be in touch very quickly and at best same day. Well over a week later and no contact from anyone but the washing machine has been scheduled for delivery back to the supplier. 

This week I have unpacked the Tumble Dryer and there are multiple dents on one panel. Had this been paid for, it would have been sent back. 

In terms of delivery, a very poor experience. ArrowXL very poor, communications poor and still none the wiser in terms of what is happening. 

Washing Machine

Clearly I'm unable to provide any meaningful review as I haven't actually received it yet. 

Tumble Dryer

Unpacked this week. All as expected. Usual stickers advising the energy use for the device. Warranty card (leaflet) and Set Up Guide. 

Set Up Guide easy to read and understand. Kept short and to the point with easy to understand pictures and narrative. 

Attachments are of good quality and took just a few moments to set up. 

Now, one important thing to note is that this Tumble Dryer CAN be set up as a stand alone item but the guidance is to link it to an external drainage source. This is important if you plan to install this device in a place where you wouldn't want to access the rear of the device regularly such as draining the small condensing water tank. Also, the electric cable with 3 pin plug isn't long, a meter at best, so you may need to think about where to place it. 

The internal clothes rack is sturdy, good quality and took just a couple of seconds to install. 

So, the Tumble Dryer is now set up and in situ. Just need to do some washing now and then give it a go. 

Will write up part 3 once I've had a chance to get the washing done and give it a go......

I had to return two series 5 Samsung washing machines. Due to damage on both deliveries. Not so much Samsung but courier, also ArrowXL. Went for a AEG washing machine in the end. Lucky no damage.

Our brief was clear, to provide an honest review (good or bad) about the product.

As I said, not a fault with Samsung. Courier and transit. Wasn't going to chance another third appliance the same. I had to wait over a week for the first damaged appliance to be collected. Love my Samsung devices I own. Not so huge I have to buy all Samsung.

certainly fallen short in terms of Delivery, though it is an Arrow  XL   issue.   Hopefully you will be impresssed enough with the products( washing machine a bit of a saga though).

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.
