As per the title, I have what I believe is a Series 7 washing machine (auto dose + add wash).
I specifically purchased this machine as it has both a delay timer and rinse hold, and I was looking to have the laundry run during the early hours when I have access to cheaper electricity but have the laundry sit in the final rinse water until I get up.
The dynamic nature of the tariff means the hours of cheap electricity could be 01:30 - 04:30 on one day but 02:30-05:00 the next, so it's not a case of fixed hours or hours reasonably close to when I get up, hence the wish for a machine with rinse hold.
Unfortunately, it seems the two options can't be combined, which just makes no sense to me as a wash with a delayed end is when you are most likely to want to also use rinse hold, such as overnight or whilst at work. I can select rinse hold just fine but as soon as I set a delayed end time, the default spin speed for that program is selected. Beyond frustrating!
Can anyone confirm please if this is correct or a fault with my machine?
