Hello
I'm having a worrying issue with a Series 5 Ecobubble™ 9kg Washing Machine WW90TA046AE. I've had it just over 5 months and it has been used sparingly.
The other day after washing some bedding, I noticed a crack and black burn mark on the wall washing machine 'socket'. The wash finished with no issues.
I haven't been brave enough to check the actual plug of the washing machine due to possible safety issues.
Unfortunately, I have been reading quite a few incidents with Samsung machines doing this sort of thing.
What would my next step be? Its obviously still under warranty but after reading about issues, I'm concerned about even getting a repair never mind a replacement.
I'll be contacting my landlord in the morning to sort an electrician out. I need someone else to confirm that it's a washing machine issue rather than a wiring issue. I had previously used a cheap Indesit for a few years without any of these problems!

I have taken a look at the plug that goes into the socket and I cannot see any damage on the outside of it.
I'm wary to touch it to pull it out until an electrician comes out.
This damage occurred AFTER a wash. It was not there before the wash.

I sent a PM last night but am yet to get a reply.
I'm also in contact with the online shop who supplied the machine to me.
I can't get an electrician out for another month as they don't consider it an emergency! 🙄

And there we go.....
The company I bought it from have contacted Samusng and they said they'll send an engineer out. But....
If they find no fault, I will be charged for this engineer visit!
Great. People really want to push me to the edge don't they? Life is hard enough without all this BS.
Stuck with a 5-6 month old washing machine that I cannot risk to use now. £400+ down the drain.
Stop the world, I wanna get off.

Never again.
