Samsung Z fold 3 sound issues when opened flat

There is no sound when my z fold 3 is opened flat. Even sound seizes in the middle of calls when it is used closed. What is the issue here??

There could be a hardware issue @Anthony75 

It is still worth checking the speakers via the Battery and Device Care however.

If this continues then consider letting a Samsung Service Centre take a look.

Same thing happened to my Zfold 3 after the recent software update. I've reset all the settings and troubleshooted all audio settings with no success. It's the update. If the phone is partially open or closed it plays sound but fully open the only way it plays sound is with bluetooth connections.

Yes mine has no sound on full screen mode after last software update grrr
