Two days ago I was shopping. In the second shop I opened my phone to pay with Samsung Wallet when low and behold I was faced having to completely deregister my details. Luckily, I had my cards on me - no cash but I had something to pay with. This has happened multiple times since I first got the phone when it was offered for sale. I also have a Note 20 and this has never happened to that phone. I have contacted technical support many times and been put through the works to stop this happening to no avail. I'm done with Samsung!!!

A Google search brought up this.

Samsung Wallet may require you to deregister your details due to a few reasons, including manual resets, security concerns, or potential system errors. If you've recently reset the app, experienced multiple failed verification attempts, or received a remote reset request, your card details may have been removed. Additionally, system errors with Samsung, your card network, or the issuer can also lead to temporary unavailability or deregistration.

May not be the device itself. I've never had issues with Samsung wallet. I did set up Google on my watch, due to not using for a while. My bank however did deregister.

As I stated in my post, my note 20 has never had this problem and I still use it. Also, this is happening on a frequent basis, multiple times (15 plus) since I purchased it. I actually sent it to Samsung for a thorough investigation.

Have you also contacted your bank to see if the issue is their end

Fiona, yes I have. The question should be ' why does this happen to my flip 5 and not my note 20'. When it came back from Samsung, it did it again a couple of weeks later.
