Good morning all,

So as of last night 20/07/2025, i have had issues with my flip 4 turning off when being closed. It happened 3 times last night and again at 6am this morning 21/07/2025. I can also show people in person that it does it. I have checked for the updates and everything else. I'm wondering if this comes under as a manufacturing problem. I got the phone off of facebook marketplace but the guy barely used it, he didn't even put a sim card in the phone.

I have had the phone a little over  1 year and am now experiencing issues.

As someone who came from apple to samsung, I'm not impressed at this point, these phones were highly regarded when they were advertised. My other problem is that i have to send this away and i don't have a second phone or the funds to buy a second phone to be able to that

safe to say not impressed

Hi! Welcome to the Samsung Members community!

If Samsung is requesting it be sent away for a repair, I'd say that's unfortunately the only route to go. I understand it's not ideal at all, but there's not much to suggest beyond that.

Being a forum for customers to interact with customers (samsung dont see) I would also submit feedback directly to samsung.

Being the phone was released in 2022 I would assume the guy on facebook used the device, I dont fully believe not ever using the it nor using a sim, they woudve had for over a year, maybe even more and spent over 1.5 grand of the device. That lart seems strange

The only people who can say if its manufacturer issue is a repair centre. Being we cant know what caused it. It could be and it also may not be. To me seems like theres a loose connection somewhere, so when the device is folded its cutting it off
