I don't need to clear the cash every time, as long as I reboot the phone 80% of the time the wifi comes back on. Once in a while I have to reboot it a few times.
I just decided to trade it in and get the Fold5 as much as that sucked financially.
It's hard to believe it's a hardware bug unless unfolding it is shorting out the wifi, but then why does it come back once we reboot the phone? Why doesn't it just come back when we fold it back up again?
I'm not a phone tech so I don't know the answer but it seems like a software bug if you ask me.

Tried that as well:
Cleared Cache: works 100% until unfolded
Reboot: Takes sometimes a couple tries
If you wipe cache in "unfold" state it does not work at all.
What worries me is Samsung warranty terms, if they find a tiny scratch on the frame they will not change the phone ;(

I am SOOO glad and so fortunate I was on the Samsung Fold Reddit sub when I read about this update and everybody 'coincidentally' having wifi/bluetooth failures immediately following the may/july update. I turned off auto-update on my phone - but I accidentally turned it back on and downloaded 9% of the update before I managed to halt it again. It sucks not being able to get updates. But better to have an unbricked phone.

The midyear update did, they changed something that was irreversible once done, and shorted something out. Very glad I turned autoupdate off on my phone before I downloaded that curse. I'd rather have less security and a working phone.

If a cache wipe resolves the issue of lost wifi and bluetooth, it's clearly data-related. But my speculation is that the midyear update also fried some hardware irreversubly. But the liability for Samsung is monumental.

Well, this just happened to me, too, within the last 3 hours. Left a diner where I was using the wifi at 1:15PM, and by 3:45PM, the wifi either won't turn on or appears to turn on but without any networks detected. I'm trying to send in system logs in the Members app but it looks like that froze.
--edit--
Like others have said, the wifi works again with the screen folded. This feels like a software bug.

3 months after I got my z fold 4, I had hinge failure for no reason then I changed my display cause i do not have active care plus due to region
I noticed after 3 days the screen is bleeding but it's hard to see which worsen up with time and they said they won't take responsibility it
now I left my home using my wifi and i got to school I couldn't turn my wifi and bluetooth on...
I've escalated it to their twitter page cause this device has been a nightmare ever since I purchased it.. it seem it would be my last samsung device maybe I should switch to apple

This is a hardware defect; there is no way to fix it ourselves.
