WiFi networks suddenly missing and cannot connect

Hi, I have galaxy z Fold 3, for several years, and this is my first issue. My WiFi suddenly dropped, and I found it to be switched off. I tried switching it back on, but it just keeps searching for networks. Usually I can see around a dozen or so listed, but now, nothing. 

I have not added anything or deleted anything recently, not had any updates to anything on my phone. It just suddenly stopped working. I can access internet on my phones data, just not WiFi.

I have tried all the fixes I can find so far, including safe mode and resetting WiFi but nothing has worked. I've loved this phone from the minute I got it, and would hate to lose it for a WiFi problem. 

Can anyone help, I am thinking it's a hardware issue, possibly Antenna type thing, and hopefully it can easily be fixed, anyone any suggestions.

Can it be repaired or replaced, and also, why would it just suddenly stop, that is the annoying part.

My husband had this issue with his zfold 3. He did a software update and realised it wouldn't connect to WiFi. He sent it to samsung after chatting to them to get repaired and they fixed it ,no problem. I cant remember what was in their report,sorry,but it was sorted quickly. 👍
