Bluetooth and Wi-Fi stopped working since update

Hey everyone,

I have a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and recently ran into a major issue after a software update. I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if you found a fix.

⚠ The Issue:

Wi-Fi won’t detect any networks at all.

Bluetooth won’t turn on or find devices.

Mobile data still works fine, but Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are completely unresponsive.


🛠️ What I’ve Already Tried:

Basic Fixes:

Restarted the phone multiple times.

Tried Safe Mode (to rule out third-party apps).

Reset Network Settings.


Advanced Fixes:

Factory Reset (Settings > Reset).

Cleared Cache Partition in Recovery Mode.

Flashed official Samsung firmware using Odin (EUX/OXM firmware).


🚨 None of these have worked.

🔎 What I’ve Noticed:

Wi-fi can turn on but no available networks available (which is false, my tablet and other devices connect fine)

Bluetooth won’t turn on at all.

The issue started immediately after a software update, and I’ve already tried reinstalling the firmware.


🔹 Has Anyone Else Had This Problem?

I’m wondering if this is a known issue or if it might be a hardware failure. If you’ve had the same problem, did you manage to fix it?

Also, since I bought the phone refurbished, I’m not sure if Samsung would still offer a repair. Has anyone dealt with something similar?

Any advice or experiences would be really helpful! Thanks in advance! 🙏

You have performed most of the troubleshooting steps you can take. 👍

One I wouldn't have performed is the flashing of the software. 

If a diagnostic test does not show anything up in the Samsung Members App, then send feedback via your Samsung Members App to see if they can help. 

A Samsung Service Centre maybe able to help. 

May I suggest to perform a forum search as you may find already existing threads with help and advice within.

Z fold 4 I have the same experience. No wifi, turns on but doesn't detect. Sees my sims chip but won't connect. It's basically a dead phone.  Also goes dead after opening fold. Will reboot after a while. Have performed factory reset without success. Just updated 3 days ago and troubles began Android 14 and UI 6.1.1. Desperately looking for a solution.

Update called Samsung. They've made a service ticket and I've sent it to Texas Service Center. Said it'll be 2 weeks to return.

I have the same problem. Called Samsung Customer service and with the suggestions given it still does not work... looking for solutions as you are.

Same story on my fold 4, wifi can be  turned on, but no networks could be found.

Bluetooth can't be turned on. 

 

This bug started after the last software update. 

Before this update everything worked like It should.
