Exporting samsung pass data

Hi, does anyone know if there's a way to export my passwords that are stored in the samsung pass to a new device that is not a samsung I.e. a oneplus device? There's a option to export the data, but it's in a format can only be read by samsung. Or if it can't be exported is there a work a round? Cheers

I think you can only export the samsung pass data to a different samsung device (linked to your email) for obvious security reasons.

Cheers, I think you're right, but I don't think it's for security reasons. If someone has gotten into the samsung pass and is in a position to export it, then they can just take the passwords they need. Its more to do with keeping you locked onto samsung. Prime example, my new phone arrived 5 days ago, but my chip is still in my zfold because of my passwords. I think its going to be a long process of biting the bullet and reseting them all.

There does not seem to be a way around it.  Samsung Pass does not allow exporting to or importing from other password Managers.

You seem to be right. I wish there was a warning when you start using it and I would have used my Google account for most of my passwords and only samsung pass for a couple of them. Cheers

Its greed and ignorance for Samsung not to allow exportation of passwords.  Every other company does it - even the ones typically not available to the public as security managers.  The executives / mamangers at Samsung are shortsighted, controlling and greedy.
