After the February patch update, suddenly my s25 ultra is heating too much and battery draining too fast. the battery is draining quickly even when I am not using it. Any one else facing the same issue? Any suggestions to improve the situation? even my battery usage is not showing any unusual usage.

Try putting the phone to power saving mode for 1 hour and turning it off. 🔋🔌 Also, if performance profile is set to lite, change it to standard before putting the phone to power saving mode. ⚙️✅

I have the same issue. Last week, it started randomly. I get somewhere around 5-6 SOT. I tried putting all apps to deep sleep, then removing apps from deep sleep, updating them all, and putting them back to deep sleep again. I restarted the phone a zillion times. Then, turn it off when it starts to get hot, charge it until it is 95%, and turn it back on, but nothing helps, currently, at 7 a.m. I had 100% battery, and by Noon, I was at 8% with usage of less than an hour. My Galaxy S23+ has triple the battery life of Galaxy S25 Ultra, it's like a joke. Please advise. I also tried clearing the cache, and this did not help either. I am thinking of taking the phone to a dealer so they can check it out. I don't want to factory reset it since I have so many things inside since S20 Ultra. This is such a lame thing going on with a flagship phone. I am really disappointed.
For comparison, when I bought the phone in early February, the battery estimation was at 1d and 15 h; now it only estimates 9 to 11 h.

Tried this 3 times. Doesn't do the trick for me. Glad to hear it worked for you.

Is it happening after any recent update? If the solution is not working then I would suggest to go to the dealer from where you purchased the device. Before thay, try again by putting it on power save mode. keep the device turned off until it gets cold. Prayers for you!

Thanks my friend. Will try the power saving mode. My suspicion is the latest Samsung Security Update dated 1st of March 2025. It started a day after this update. Will follow up on it. Thanks.

I initially suspected a recent patch update was the cause of the excessive battery drain, but this proved incorrect. To identify the culprit application(s), I enabled power saving mode overnight and reviewed battery usage statistics. Facebook and its associated Meta services, along with my work application, were identified as significant contributors. Additionally, diagnostic data transmission was active. Restricting battery usage for Facebook and the work application, limiting their background data usage, and disabling diagnostic data transmission have significantly improved battery performance. My phone now requires charging approximately every two days.
