After the February patch update, suddenly my s25 ultra is heating too much and battery draining too fast.  the battery is draining quickly even when I am not using it. Any one else facing the same issue? Any suggestions to improve the situation? even my battery usage is not showing any unusual usage.

Thank you all for your help and suggestions. I guess I have got an solution. I am sharing what i have done for those who are facing the same issue.

step 1: I have added most of the apps in deep sleep list. except gmail and other important apps from which i need instant notification.

Step 2: I turned off my device. Then kept it aside to cool it down and then charged it to 95%. All should be done in power off state.

Step 3: turned on my device with the name of Almighty Allah and put it on power save mode just for safety.

After that, i have found it ok till now. You can try this too.

Hello 👋 and Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum.

I've not experienced this on my phone but that can because we all set up our phone's differently, and use different apps ,and use the phone's differently @Jannatlopa

Perhaps try >

May I suggest to perform a forum search as you may find already existing threads with help and advice within.

And try this " in phone dialer you can type *#9900# then scroll down until you see batterystats reset press on that and see if helps. "

" the auto blocker must be turned off " for this code to work.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Fully disable digital wellbeing, it doesn't actually show in the battery usage but its constantly running in the background 24/7 and tracks all your usage activity. Unless you actually use the data from it, it pointless.

You could try switching the processor to light mode rather than standard, it wont have any affect everyday basic tasks such as facebook and internet browsing, etc.

If you dont mind dark mode it uses a lot less battery while the phone is in use.

Any apps you dont use very often put them into deep sleep. You can still use them whenever but they wont do anything in the background which is fine if you're not expecting constant updates or notifcations from the app.

Use a low brightness on AOD, visible but not in your face bright. This will also protect the Amoled from any burn in happening down the line.

Thank you for suggestions. But the device os draining very unusually. it's like draining 1% every 2-3 minutes. I am using it now on power save mode. but still draining. the area besides camera are getting hot even when I am not using it. very much frustrating. During writing this comment I just lost 2% charge.

So when you bought the device was it like this or did it happen afterwards if not then it's faulty if your within your 14days cooling off period you should exchange it if not then contact samsung and send it off to repair

I am in USA, updated my phone 45 mins ago. Facing same issue.

Without using anything battery dropped from 80 to 64% in just 45 mins.

Restrted the phone 2 times. But no improvement. It fell 2% just while reporting this.

Yes ive had the same issue. Roughly 180% drained with 9hrs SOT during the first day after the update, where I would usually be getting 90-100% drain for 9hrs SOT previously.
