After the February patch update, suddenly my s25 ultra is heating too much and battery draining too fast. the battery is draining quickly even when I am not using it. Any one else facing the same issue? Any suggestions to improve the situation? even my battery usage is not showing any unusual usage.

Seriously, no matter what I do, the battery drains 2% every 5 minutes! Screen's at 60FPS, resolution's FHD+, apps are sleeping, junk's uninstalled, no live wallpaper, dark mode's on, screen times out after 15 seconds, and I'm using the official 45W Samsung charger. Before the February update, it lasted a day and four hours! Now it's only 12-13 hours.

Maybe this will be useful to someone. Yesterday, I tried the method mentioned above. When my phone got hot and the battery was down to a few percent, I turned it off, let it cool down completely, and then charged it while it was still off.
In the morning, I turned it on, and the battery lasted the whole day just like before the update, without overheating. So far, it’s been a day, and I hope the overheating won’t come back and that this actually helped.

So, I figured it out! Remember that crazy battery drain after playing Asphalt Legends Unite? It was draining super fast, so I had to use power saving mode for a couple of hours. After that, the problem went away – the battery's fine now, even without power saving mode or any tweaks. Looks like a bug in the game; it probably over-clocked the processor and never went back to normal. That's gotta be why the battery died so fast.
