The battery on my S25 Ultra has suddenly started draining rapidly. It used to last well over 24 hours with decent usage and now it has went from 100% to 22% in 9 hours. The way the battery is decreasing is alot more than last week as seen in the pictures. The phone is a little over a month old. Nothing has changed with it. I have cleared some app cache and made sure apps are put to sleep or deep sleeping but it still seems to be draining quickly.

Hello 👋 @scottishsr

I appreciate you have cleared some of the apps caches to try and help with this.

May I also suggest >

  • Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port or a usb-c to usb-c phone to phone set up to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }

And https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/

May I suggest to perform a forum search as you may find already existing threads with help and advice within.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Same thing here. Few days ago my Galaxy S25 Ultra started doing the same thing. Initially I was getting more than 24 hrs of baterry life and now I am at only 10 hours estimated screen time. I charged my phone second time today and it is at 50%. My wife's s23+ and my sons A55 5G have triple the baterry capacity. Its like a joke. What I tried is: waiting for the phone to drain then turn it off charge like that until 100% and then turning it on again. Them restarting several times. Waking all deep sleep apps and updating them and restart. Reinstalling some of the apps I regularly use but nothing. If this does not fix soon I will have to switch this phone to something else. It starts becoming unusable. My cousin in US when we were talking told me that he got the same thing too so its probably a global problem with baterry drain. This is my baterry status currently:

Seems to be a common issue mines is showing battery usage of 113% and the phone has barely been used.

Even the 9hrs Sot is so good as compared to other brands. Have you tried on the diagnostics available in samsung devices itself, any updates to make or any specific app that consuming more battery tban before???

The battery is terrible compared to what it was.lasy week. Ive ran samsung diagnostic says the phone is fine, the software updated earlier but dont think it has made much difference. All apps are upto date, restarted the phone. Battery health is 100%
You can see in the pictures the battery decreased gradually but today it is a much steeper drain.
