Samsung fix your camera bugs and stop breaking the DMA

After 5 months still both telephoto lenses do not work with some 3rd party apps specifically gcam. This bug was present on the s24 ultra but fixed within weeks but 5 months after release and still not fixed on the s25 ultra even after the big 1.2gb June update is seriously taking the mick.

Still no fix for the charging bug either - using a different cable makes no difference 70% of the time wired charging does not work at all !

Also not allowing 3rd party apps access to the full 200mp and 50mp resolutions is breaking the EU digital markets act.

Samsung clearly views it's customers and EU law with total contempt. 

And I haven't even mentioned the lack of 16gb ram, the pathetic 5 year old 3x zoom lens, the 2 year old main camera, the pathetic "fast" charging that isn't even fast and wasn't fast 2 years ago, the even more pathetic 15w "fast" wireless charging, the removal of bluetooth from the s pen, the screen with only 120Hz refresh rate when many other phones offer 144Hz or the pathetic 4855mah battery when other manufacturers offer 6000mah+. 

£1500 for a phone with these massive spec holes and the same unfixed bugs after 5 months clearly shows we are just cash cows for samsung and once they have more of our cash for a lower spec phone when we could get a higher spec one for less cash from someone else, that they couldn't case less about their customers.

Gcam isn't an official app as it's just an open source Google camera port so it's not up to Samsung to support it. Wired charging works fine on my s25 ultra. By the looks of your other complaints then I'd ask why did you buy it.

I wont address your comments as there are a lot of 'pathetics' in there... and i believe i will just be wasting my time and effort.

I hope you find happiness with one of the other android Chinese brands. Clearly by your opinion, they are far less 'pathetic' than Samsung.

You should have applied your advise before purchasing the phone. Given you seem to know a lot more than the community here.

What made you buy the phone?

Idk why you even need 3rd party apps with the S25 Ultra camera 📷, which has tens of ways to use and customise your pictures. I find the phone very responsive and the battery lasts quite a long time, fast charging is not really healthy for the battery. Imo Samsung software is more reliable than more exotic brands, but you can use any phone you want, no need to put the word 'pathetic' so many times.

Gcam isn't even an official camera app it's a port of the Google camera. Can't see why anybody would want to try that anyway. We've got export raw to play with. 👍

Apps don't need to be "official", it IS up to samsung to allow bug free access to ALL cameras and resolutions. There is a known bug with wired charging lucky you if you haven't got it or do you mean just cos you haven't I shouldn't complain about it ?? Oh and by the way android is a version of linux and therefore is also open source although quite what relevance it is to anything I don't know

I was happy the 10 years I spent with chinese phones - came back to samsung 3 years ago just before it got all lazy like apple. Thanks for your reply fanboy

I've used it for years cos it has better processing than samsungs many others use it too - samsung hardware google processing. Prob best to try it yourself before commenting. And Expert raw ? That app is utter rubbish. Whatever your opinion of it samsung should sort the bugs and not break eu law or take the mick out of it's customers. Android is about choice it's not ios, if I wanna use a different camera app I can and it should not be hindered by bugs samsung doesn't fix
