Samsung S24 Ultra Battery Issue

Hello All

Has anybody noticed any issues with their charging on the S24 Ultra. 

When plugging in a 65W charger it gives the blue ring and shows Super Fast Charger Connected but the time states the same time as using a 25w charger that gives the Green ring 

When you go into the battery Settings, the Super Fast Charging Option doesn't appear even though it is connected to one. It's the same charger I was using on the S22 Ultra. 

When I open up the Accubattery App, it shows the charging at around 17w max even though with the same charger on my S22 it shows around 35w+. 

Is anybody having the same issue?

Also the battery drain, few members are getting great SOT even during learning Period and here I'm with 6hrs SOT on S24U. Just waiting for an update to fix the issue.

Just my theory.

I personally don't use fast chargers.
The reason being they only give you a boost charge to maybe between 50 to 60% in just under 30 mins and then revert to slow charge for the next 30 minutes or so until full charge.

For the the 24 watts are more then enough for this.

Apparently it's done to protect the battery.

Besides phones having all day battery life these days it's not really a deal breaker for most people.

Hi Orosa87, you have the fast charging selected, this should enable the super fast charging.
Re the actual charging, I'm sure when the soc (state of charge) reaches around the 80% mark the charge rate reduces until it reaches max.
If this is happening on initial charge up something is wrong, are you using the supplied cable and what make of charger are you using. Although you say it's 65w it's only going to charge a max of 45w, you probably know all this already but as a start I would try reversing the cable, do a restart on your phone and try again but make sure your battery level is around 50-60% before charging.
I personally use an Anker 45w charger but it had a problem where it would only super fast charge intermittently, I had this replaced and it now works flawlessly.

Ha have you got an S9 tab ultra with a 11200mah battery and tried to charge with a 25w charger 😉😁 I know what you're saying tho, heat does kill batteries even although the software is designed to regulate the charging rate, I do sometimes switch off the fast charge toggle for this reason 👍 but only when I'm not in a hurry 😁

On my
S22ultra I have all three showing superfast charging, fast charging and fast wireless charging. There are all enabled and toggled on.

On the S22 Ultra there was an option that said Super Fast Charging and this option doesn't appear on the S24 Ultra which it should

Well. He put it under the s24 series. Also should have said charging issues not battery issues. Although they are related in a way. I'm none the wiser 😌
