It's getting annoying now!!

Android 15 will come to the S24 series when it's ready. Every time I open this app there is at least 3-15 new posts moaning. 

The people moaning, are they the ones that will complain they don't like it? 

Is your phone currently running as you like...if yes then what is the issue? I just don't get it or understand why you are complaining 🤷 

There are more things to worry about in the world. 

It's a free update, not like you have to pay and the delivery date has passed and you have lost money.

Samsung have not released a date, it's all just people guessing because the S25 series has been released doesn't mean the android15 is ready for other phones.

Could be worse, you could have put a £4000 deposit on a Tesla roadster 8 years ago and still no sign of it and no option to get your money back. 

I look forward to reading people's comments on this subject.....why is it so important too you personally?

I guess I'm the only one who doesn't really care, anyway, back in the years you would get a nice update every 3 months on every phone, now they are trying to get more stabilised updates I guess, that won't mess up with our phones, fingers crossed, I personally don't mind, I know the new software won't look exactly like S25U due to hardware differences, but at least it will be improved and some new features will be received, fingers crossed again, plus, I hope for new software for the camera, of which, I really hope it will look like S25U, because that one is really really cool...😊

We live in a world where we constantly look for the next best thing. Never happy to settle on what we have. Its sad really, but also on the other hand. As samsung users, we do pay a lot of money monthly to phone contracts and devices. So i also get where people are coming from.
Samsung state that certain devices are supported for a number of years. I get that they need to ensure that these supporting softwares are stable and no glitches also.
But (again) its plain to see samsungs business plan here. Delay the software until enough people have bought the new flagship device. On terms of indirect environmental impact that is being passed down to us users - that aint sustainable.

People are only asking for a timeline. All questions will stop then. I get it.

Im also sat on the fence with this one being an S24U user. Im excited for the update, but also willing to wait. Ive been offered an upgrade, but unwilling to pay 300 pounds and hand back my device just for the S25U. Ill wait

I know but you can't blame people being a bit excited for a freebie. But I do think it would stop all the questions if there was a answer even an approximate one. I just don't read those questions, I've asked and accept the answer. As you said it will come when it comes.

So many times I was tempted to pop a post on here like this but chose not to for the negativity that may follow.

In total agreement though.

There is no benefit or gain for Samsung holding updates back (esp now the S25 series is out there) so the updates will come when they are good and ready.

Having been on S24 Beta and now on S25, one thing I can say is that whilst it is an upgrade, it is an itinerant one and won't change most people's use of their device.

Thankyou for bringing some mutual thinking to the matter. I have said in response to others a number of times 👏.

Whilst I do understand some of the frustration, in there not being a planned rollout... just how important is it... I mean really ?


This world is a shitty place at times. There is War between countries and real people die.

Some dictators in charge of other countries which can not be good for anyone on the planet.

Global warming is showing some effects to climate these days... and the planet seems pretty angry with floods, fires and disasters constantly.

But where is my oneUI7 ? It is a scam. It is a joke. Samsung need to take me seriously ! I think my phone is going to self destruct if it doesn't come soon.

Some of this above is in jest, and some has a serious message. I will let you decide which. This is not an ego-tistical post and I expect to get shot down... but hey ho. Just trying to bring some reality to this.
