Samsung Galaxy S24ultra camera

Hi ,

I am thinking on buying Samsung Galaxy S24ultra and could not find information if it is possible to take photos at the same time while recording videos .I can do that on iphone , it is also working on S24?

I would also recommend taking a look at 'Single Take' mode (Camera app > More > Single Take), as this allows you to capture various pictures and videos in one shot. To find out more, please take a look at the link below from our friends at Samsung US.

I used Single Take alot on the S20U as it allows you to the a short video and also it takes pictures at the same time while you are recording. Also you can make a little video with music from it.

I don't have that button, nor I can't seem to find a way to have it even following the instructions I read here 🤦🏻

It is there, use camera in Photo Mode, not Video Mode, you know you can record videos when you long press the picture button in Photo Mode, long press that button and swipe it up, there will be a new video menu showing up and it will allow you to take pictures while recording videos as there will be a little Photo Button on the left bottom side of the screen.

@Hmartins: Please note that you can also record a video in Video mode, then head to the Gallery app, tap on the video to view it, then tap the capture button located in the bottom left corner of the video to create a photo.

First click Auto framing button and start taking video, it will enable photo button
