Will Samsung fix the camera issue on S24Ultra?

I know the S25 ULTRA release is a few weeks away. But need to be smart about a £1500 asset that is deprecating. CEX want £422 for my phone as it has minor scratches on screen. Clearly losing over £1000. But would keep the mobile for economic sense if they fixed the camera. Otherwise I am holding onto a phone with a false hope, thinking Samsung genuinely care about its customers, reputation and loyalty.

I know from this forum many have issues with previous Ultras regarding software which is a common concern.

I moved from S10Plus after 5 years. My only issue is that the camera of S24Ultra. I bought 1tb so I can take photos and videos of my travels instead of taking an actual camera.

My S10Plus to me has the better camera.

I know it's been said loads, but it shouldn't be complex to point and shoot a photo. Instead we are recommend to change camera settings for each photos. 

I really do hope Samsung read these comments.

Everyone I know has an IPhone and they never have a bad photo or video from my experience with them.

I have been Samsung fan club since Galaxy series started and now question my loyalty as it's daylight robbery in my opinion that the phone isn't performing fully as first sold. 

Why didn't I return the mobile in the first month? Feeling so silly right now, thinking Samsung would have a fix for the camera issue as initially speculated.

I am beginning to feel ripped off after a year and paying for a £1500 outright now. 

Why hasn't the camera issue been sorted out?

Just want answers from Samsung and them being transparent to hold onto their customers!

Hey there

So I'm currently using beta for S24 Ultra and can report that there are some improvements in camera, especially with point and shoot and zoom. Bit overall I've been underwhelmed with the camera experience on S24 Ultra.

If you believe gossip on the web, then the Ultra Wide camera will get an upgrade but not much else overall in the S25 Ultra but we will have to wait to the Unpacked on 22nd to find out what the S25 series will really look like.

As for trade in, Google the recyclers and you will see over £600 offered for S24 Ultra but your scratched screen may be an issue. Hence we recommend screen protectors.

I agree no improvement on camera.

Just feel ripped off that one year has passed with no solution to their flagship model and their no.1 feature advertised as the camera on the Ultra24.

I feel AI has messed up the camera function massively.

Fingers crossed that Samsung will do something as this model has 7 years software support

I like you have issues with the cameras on the S24 Ultra
I know what you are saying about returning it. But that's assuming you had realised the issues straight away.
Sadly, I fear the issues for me are hardware related as no fix has been sent. Can't fix hardware problems with software only.
I can get decent photos. Just takes some fiddling with settings to get them.
For me it's focusing the phone struggles with. Especially with macro. But zoom over a certain point just struggles with as well

Others have no issues at all. Think it's restricted to earlier devices with my issues.

I know post processing is an issue for some, but a quick edit and the photo looks exactly how you want it.
Personally I never get the right look from any manufacturer.
Even on my mirror less pro camera doesn't give the right look. So always end up adjusting the photos to how I like the look.

I am in the same situation, the camera is terrible compared to iphone. Even old iphones have better quality pictures. Bought the first batch of 1tb too. I really want to sell
