S24 ultra January update.

My s23ultra has had 2 updates in January and carries security patch for 1st January. 

Whereas my s24ultra was last updated on 17th December and carries 1 December security update. Is there a reason why s24ultra does not have January security patch whilst the older s23ultra does? My phone is unlocked direct from Samsung in UK and not via any carrier.

Hey there

Many users in the S24 series are in beta.

S24 series will be the first to be updated to OneUI7 (after S25 series of course)

Those in beta have January Security Patch so not expecting the upgrade to One UI7 to be far away too.

I suspect the delay is due to One UI7 being imminent.

Thank you, it just concerned me that the s24 ultra was throwing a wobbly as I have just entered a 2nd January update on the s23ultra with the January patch. I'll wait it out with everyone else. Thank you

I don't think the S24ultra January security patch is released yet, the S23 was the first to be released along with the Z fold 6 and Z flip 6 devices. Sammobile.com is the best site to check out any updates released.

Well into February, we shall soon know if Samsung really have forgotten us. The race is on, which will come first; January update to UK S24Ultra OR February update to the rest of the Samsung fleet S23Ultra and older.   I shall keep an eye on my phones to see which update arrives first

Well, almost a week into February and the UK s24ultra has a security update. Don't panic it's not an early February update. No just the UK s24ultra getting the January security update that everyone else got a month ago! Not totally forgotten after all😊
