S24ultra camera zoom

Hello, I bought a Galaxy S24 Ultra last week. But I realized that there is a problem with its camera, in fact, the camera zoom is not done well and even the photos are of low quality.

Really I have the galaxys23 ultra have you seen the shots the g s23 ultra takes is the galaxy s24 worse then the galaxy s23?

I must say that the camera of the Galaxy S23 Ultra was much stronger, the quality of the S23 photos was very good, but unfortunately the S24 camera is not, I found the photos to be completely unreal.

The stock camera app is usually really bad on release. It does improve with firmware updates. This is a common occurrence every year.

I did not get the S23, but the S22 Ultra had identical behaviour to what I am seeing with the S24.

There are some very decent pictures and some not good at all, posted in the forum. It is hard to determine the shooting conditions, settings, but it is clear that the point and shoot is not as good as it should.

One of the good picture was taken using the portrait mode.

The S22 Ultra stock camera app was bad, but the Expert Raw app was taken excellent pictures. Have you tried Expert Raw? It would be a good way to check if it is just a buggy app.

I can't seem to get my head around why people complain about a newer phone that'd not had any updates compared to an older phone that's had quite a few updates already. 🤔 But also if i recall the s23 ultra had a few problems of its own when first launch.. #tech #smartphones #s23ultra

Do you have the Galaxy S24 Ultra? If you buy this phone, please go to the camera section and test the zoom, you will find that there is a problem, and also today, Samsung announced that the camera has a problem and this problem will probably be solved with a software update, of course I am disappointed.

I do own the phone and I haven't encountered a problem with the zoom lens. Perhaps a bit more specifics as to what the problem is you are referring to?

The problem I have with the zoom is that when zooming between 2x, 3x and 5x, the zoom is not smooth and the focus is also lost. I hope this problem will be solved with a software update
