Dear Samsung 🎅

Please upgrade and fix the poor quality issues of the camera 📷

It's been a year nearly and I think my patience needs rewarding now.

I just want my mobile to perform as it was advertised as having a great camera.

It is sad to report that my S10Plus camera is better and I waited five years before upgrading to this 1TB version.

Thank you for reading my post but I think a software update for the camera is overdue.

God bless you 🙏🏻

Hey @TheDenny

We can but hope 👍

Samsung have been working on cameras for the upcoming S25 Series apparently (based on speculation on the web, not from Samsung directly) and if this is the case and if there are software improvements, maybe just maybe they will roll these or to S24 and S23 Series respectively.

Speculation continues that there won't be much change in the camera hardware on the S25 series (again speculative based on the web). If so then it may not be the major upgrade we hope for but we will have to wait until 22nd January to find out.

I really hope Samsung does update the S24Ultra camera as this is the only aspect of the phone I don't agree with the most.

I am pausing an upgrade until I k know for sure it's an actual improvement overall from the S24Ultra to S25Ultra.

Thank you for your feedback.

Wishing you the best 2025 in great health and infinite happiness 😊

Sadly I don't think some of the issues are software related.
The fact they have not sent out fixes to me says its hardware related and cannot be fixed.
My S23 Ultra cameras were way better than my S24 Ultra. It's been quite a disappointment this phone.
Wether I get the S25 Ultra is up for debate really. Might wait and see if the cameras have been improved.

Can't help but agree with this.

I've been underwhelmed by the cameras on S24 Ultra and am unlikely to upgrade to S25 Ultra unless there are significant improvements especially in this area.

If it related to 3x 10Mp telephoto camera, sadly software update can't fix the quality. 10mp camera can't be push further for quality improvements. Main 200mp sensor can push further with better software update and including more modes with well integration can upgrade all over. Let's wait for new S25 Ultra.

Have to agree sometimes it does good job if you just point and shoot and if you set your settings properly but still too much of processing going on, I do rely on pro or expert raw but for the most part people don't use pro or expert modes they want good bright and detailed pictures, so I hope s25 series will bring some improvement.

Am I the only one who likes the S24 ultra cameras 😂

I mean, I understand they are not Awesome and have their issues.

I personally love what I get on them. Atleast for the types of photos I shoot.

I understand some people with kids have the blur issue .

But given the phone shoots 4k - 8K I would have just shot video instead. And maybe do a grab screen.

Maybe I need to test shooting some kids and stuff.

Anyways just to say I am a happy bunny with the camera.

Also those not on the One Ui beta they have kinda fixed the 50MP modes colour science to almost match the 12MP which for me is progress in the right direction.

Also the toggles are all within reach at the bottom which is also a plus point 😊

To be honest I love Samsung phones but get a Google pixel phone if photos are important to you. They take more natural looking photos and you don't get as much blur with moving subjects.
