I'm just curious as to why unlocked phones still have not received oreo update yet? If Vodafone can release it and three why not unlocked phones it' not as if there is much testing that needs to be done on them like Vodafone would have to etc.

They have started to roll out the s8 oreo update so should be soon. But like you said they need to sort out how they roll out the updates. If iPhone can update over a mill devices from all countries why not Samsung.

Oh definitely I've been with Samsung along time and don't get Me wrong i love using Samsung phones mainly for the camera but their only downside is updates and security if they could just talk to their customers on when updates will be ready it would make things alot easier. Vodafone Australia have a website it tells you when they have the update when they are testing and when they release it.

Ah yes thanks for getting back to me i did read that but from what I read is that it' mainly netwoks who will probably won't see oreo until April and i have an unlocked phone and to what I also read was that the rollout had already started. The last oreo update I think was last Friday and that was to Vodafone Germany.

Yeah just can't get my head around it for instance i put phone in safe mode and uninstalled Samsung stock browser i then tried using Google chrome predictive text works BUT when I use a word from the predicted text bar it won't auto space. So I reinstalled Samsung internet still won't work tried turning off and on predicted text no luck but works flawlessly when using email messages and here etc.

Yes i flashed xeu on this phone as it was on vod but then still didn't have the predicted text bar show up so i flashed the latest XEU had to reset phone because it was different csc but still don't work. Can't work out why thou

Hi all I'm running latest nougat update on my s8 xeu UK i like using the Samsung internet browser but the problem i have is when I open it and click to search on Google my keyboard opens up but I don't have the predicted text bar show up. It works when im typing this or using email etc but for some reason won't work on the stock browser.
