Annoying when you buy a new phone and it is not as good as your older phone.. S24 wifi issues is very disappointing. Apps will not work while connected via wifi anywhere.. got told to turn the 5hz wifi setting off.. am I to tell every home I go to and say that lol.. businesses.. you don't upgrade to downgrade grrrr

Getting worse and worse. I have to turn WiFi on and off every few minutes to "unlock" it.

Yes, exactly this! This needs to be a priority for Samsung now. Top many similar issues to ignore. Sent 3 error report with no outcome. No good asking for screenshots. What of? A blank screen of unloaded content? Woeful! I reiterate, not everything is affected. I have no issue browsing the internet, just these "affected" apps refusing to load content.

I literally bought a S24 Ultra today and the wifi issue has been beyond ridiculous. It is startling that a device that retails for so much $$$  cannot get a simple thing like wifi correct!!

Definitely planning to return and maybe opt for a pixel or something. This is ridiculous.

I have generated yet another error report accompanied by the the follwing message.  Properly annoyed now.  Feel free to comment/add their experience.

"As requested I've added screen shots of two random apps (BBC news and Strava) refusing to load content. Error report run at 08:45. Key points to mention again.

1. This only seems to be an issue with my home WiFi. (Sky Hub)

2. Only affects certain apps. Others are not affected at all and no issues browsing internet using any browser.

3. Issue is fixed for an undefined length of time by rebooting the device and sometimes by switching WiFi off and back on.

4. Other devices in the household using the same apps are not affected.

The Samsung community is reporting similar issues, so this cannot be isolated to my device.

This is the 4th error report I have submitted with no resolution. Please ensure that this is escalated."

Please tell me that this issue has been resolved and it's just me being daft!! Traded in my S21 for this S24 and so far, I'm very unimpressed with the wifi. It's ridiculous!!

Mine is the same!! It's the worst upgrade ever!! Constantly getting messenger and whatsapp messages to say running on mobile network as wifi is either blocking the apps or there is a network problem. My phone did an update a few days ago and it changed nothing!!! The majority of all apps including banking needs to be forces stopped and phone restarted. It's a joke!!!

Interesting how you have issues with different apps to me. Never have an issue with WhatsApp, but the BBC and Sky news apps and their companions are prime offenders. There are others, but these stand out for me. It really is woeful.

It's crazy!! At least once a week, u need to click on EVERY single app and force stop and restart the phone! The last update was a few days ago, and I received about 30 text messages via text chat that I had not received. I used to love Samsung, I could not fault them, but now it's a hassle to even use the phone. They should stop rushing to get the next model on the market, all phone have teething problems as a new phone, but for everyone to be experiencing wifi issues is just poor manufacturing. There is obviously a major fault somewhere, and I don't see it getting fixed any time soon.
