The object eraser provides a good way of removing undesired objects from a pictures.
Results will depend on the complexity of removal.
This is a simple test I did and the final result is not bad.
I hope you will also find it interesting.

Not too bad, considering that the dog is the main part of the picture.

The AI feature works better on small objects on the picture. However, it will replace the big object with something else. For instance, in that particular picture, it was replacing the dog for an armchair.
This is another example where I am trying to remove the phone and it is replaced with something else.

I thing AI is not quite good enough for this. It's a good start for AI, but obviously still work to go

It was interesting, because I tried the AI feature with the dog, it removed it and filled it with grass. I thought that the AI was learning, but I tried it again and this is what the dog was turn into. The generation is random.

"AI" is only as good as the training material it is trained on. It needs to "decide" how to best fill the gap. If it does not have enough material to fill the blanks, it fills it with the most "logical" filler.
If we really want to have the best results, then we need to use a proper editing software to delete and fill accordingly.

The selection tool doesn't really work on my S24 ultra. When I select manually it randomly selects the object (and does it really bad), so the eraser tool is not working for me any longer. On S21 and S22 ultra the manual selection works fine, but not on the S24 ultra ☹️
